Welcome Guide

 

Forsyth Senior Friendship Center

 

The Forsyth Senior Friendship Center is owned and operated by the Seniors of Taney County. The in-center meals, home delivered meals and other services are made available through the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging. Everyone is welcome to attend our Center for lunch.  Those 60 and older or the spouse of a 60+ year old can eat with a suggested contribution of $2.75 per person.  Persons under 60 are asked to pay $5.00.  Lunch is served beginning at 11:30 Monday through Friday except Holidays.

 

Center Activities

 

Two (2) pool tables

 

Pinochle is played on Monday, Tuesday and Friday afternoons

 

Line Dance lessons on Tuesdays at 9:30

 

Birthday parties on 4th Friday of each month to celebrate that month’s birthdays

 

Exercise equipment including stationary bike and treadmill

Curbside service is available by picking up 33 Gal Bin from City Hall.  Curbside service is alternating Thursdays. Please get schedule from City Hall.

THE WATER RATE FOR WATER SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS OF THE WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF FORSYTH MISSOURI SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS.

 $10.47 FOR THE FIRST 1,000 GALLONS

 

$2.87 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL 1,000 GALLONS OVER 1,000 GALLONS

 

A RATE OF $25.00 TO HAVE WATER DISCONNECTED AND THEN TURNED BACK ON.

 

A RATE OF $50.00 RECONNECT FEE IF WATER IS TURNED OFF DUE TO THE NON-PAYMENT OF A WATER BILL, PLUS THE AMOUNT ON THE BILL BEFORE SERVICE WILL BE RESTORED.

 

SEWER FOR RESIDENTIAL USAGE IS CHARGED BY USING THE WATER GALLONS FOR THE THREE (3) WINTER MONTHS, JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND MARCH, THEN DIVIDING BY THREE (3) FOR AN AVERAGE USAGE.

THIS IS CHARGED AT $11.21 FOR A BASE AND $2.84 PER 1,000 GALLONS OF WATER USED, WITH THE ABOVE RATE CHARGED FOR THE NEXT TWELVE (12) MONTHS.

NEW CUSTOMERS ARE CHARGED A MINIMUM FOR THE FIRST THREE (3) MONTHS OF SERVICE, THEN AN AVERAGE USING THESE (3) MONTHS.

 

SEWER RATES ARE RECOMPUTED EACH YEAR.

COMMERCIAL USERS ARE CHARGED SEWER ON THE AMOUNT OF WATER USED EACH MONTH.
